I was able to get over to Studio SIX for Saturday’s Kinbaku Live Night performance starring Shoko-chan, the plumpest model in Osada Steve’s harem of willing rope sluts. On Sunday the Osada Steve production company created yet another masterpiece of contemporary shibari porn. The model was the cute and very sweet Kotone-chan, well known for the beautiful phoenix tattoo on her back.

She is tiny and oh so cute. It is always a pleasure working with her — and watching her! The production started out at 5:30 p.m. when Steve and I met at Studio SIX to pick up the stuff needed and went off to the love hotel where the movie was to be shot. Steve had hired a professional camera man with whom I have worked several times.

I’m a bit partial to jet black hair but every now and then you’ll see a Japanese girl walking around with dyed blonde hair. Most of the time it looks pretty good. I’m not as crazy about all the chicks with brown hair, though. That seems to be the most popular fashion craze these days but I can’t help but think that most of these women would look better with their natural color.

I forgot about those tall black boots. Those are all over the place, too, although I suppose we’ll see less of them as the weather gets warmer. If the title above doesn’t look right it’s probably either because (a) you can’t read Japanese or Italian, or (b) your operating system isn’t set up to display Japanese characters.

In Spanish it’s el patron. However, it doesn’t seem to have the same meaning as in English. In English, we’re accustomed to saying, for example, “a patron of the arts” whereas in Spanish the word means the boss.

It seems to have its origin in Latin with the original meaning closer to our word for father.

I got this notice from Osada Steve awhile back and am just now getting around to posting it here:

“Looks like Attackers is putting out a 10th Anniversary series like the one I am starring in with Randa Mai, Mira Kurumi, Chiba Eizoh and seven others. They paired us up and let us loose for one full hour each against one single woman who bravely suffered without any rest. That’s like five or six hours nonstop for the model. I wonder how they turned that footage into a DVD?”

So, Attackers has been around for a decade now. Congratulations to them.

It appears this may be the second in a series of memorial DVDs. The first one appears to have been released in March while this one has a release date of July 7.

Squeezing five (or six) hours of material onto a single DVD while still maintaining quality would be quite a feat — especially if it’s a single layer disc.

Okay, just checked the website that sells the DVD. It’s 150 minutes. Something got left on the cutting room floor, which doesn’t come as a surprise. Still, this is a lot of material and it features some of the biggest names in the business. I also like the concept and it’s priced right.

I’ve gotten pretty picky about what I watch these days but I may be adding this one to my collection.

It was Mira Kurumi’s birthday and, since we all know his profession, you can easily guess that it was no ordinary birthday party. There was blood-spilling, blood-chilling action in the seven or eight acts that took place throughout the night.

But first things first. The concept of the show was that Mira met some of his friends who all brought special presents. The presents were mostly the performances they put on for him so there were many members of Tokyo’s avant garde art and underground SM scene there. In fact, Drachenmann and Nichole were part of the program as well as our own favorite angel, Asagi Ageha.

Finally, I arose from my futon and started to assemble the impressions of Saturday night. It will hardly be feasible to write an adequate report on the events, since we are talking about nine hours of pure action. Everything started with gorgeous Misa-chan at Studio SIX, enriched by a special performance featuring Drachenmann and Nicole and then continued at Loft Plus One with several high quality events, covering a really wide range of scenes from the subculture.

Misa-chan has performed with Osada Steve on several occasions. She has modeled at Studio SIX and has participated in one of Steve’s notorious movie productions. So she knew what to expect and I don’t think she was not disappointed.

Saturday night was Kinbaku Live Night at Studio SIX as usual. I’m going to try to post the report and the photos by tomorrow at the latest.

Drachenmann is in town with Nicole. They performed at Studio SIX along with Osada Steve and Misa-chan. Afterwards, a group of aficionados headed into Kabukicho and Loft Plus One for Mira Kurumi’s birthday bash. Steve performed traditional shibari there as did Drachenmann.

I’ve read mixed reviews of the event at Loft Plus One.

One thing’s for sure, if Mira Kurumi is involved, you’re going to witness some truly bizarre stuff. Last time I was there, there were a lot of pointy and sharp instruments being employed. And I seem to recall a bloody, dead rat — or something. This time it was apparently the insects’ turn.

Interestingly, it appears that Steve and Drachenmann were the only ones to exhibit traditional shibari technique. The rest was a mixture of mayhem and madness.

If I can get some photos from the event, I’ll post them here.

Now this is interesting. No sooner do I put up a post about the patron than the man himself returns to the dojo and since, as previously mentioned, this gentleman is choosey and has excellent taste and always requires a new face, Steve put the call out to Shoko-chan whom I first met, oh, about four years ago.

Shoko-chan was a young thing back then. She’s still young, of course, and she looks pretty much as I remember her. She’s a very eager and willing rope slut (my words — Steve prefers “rope bunny”). She digs being stripped naked and tied up good and tight. There is a full-length mirror in the dojo and Shoko-chan just couldn’t keep her eyes off herself as the ropes were being applied to her plump, voluptuous body.

Just for kicks, I dug out some old video clips I took at her debut performance at Studio SIX. I chose these clips because, one, they show a hogtie which I’m particularly fond of and, two, I didn’t have to add any mosaic to the footage.

Now, this isn’t a very good hogtie. The hapless klutz applying the ropes is in desperate need of some basic shibari training. In fact, it looks like he’d never tied up a girl before in his life. At one point you can see Steve assisting him when he couldn’t figure out how to finish tying Shoko-chan’s elbows together.

Usually at Studio SIX Steve puts on his show with the model of the evening that lasts several hours and just gives everyone enough time to get to the station for the last train home. This night was different. After the main event, Shoko-chan was amenable to having complete strangers bind her and do all manner of nasty things to her. It was one of those nights of debauchery, as I recall.

One Japanese guy who stayed late was a pretty good rope artist in his own right and he definitely had fun with Shoko-chan.
