Have you ever watched a Japanese porn video and wondered how they put that mosaic pattern in there to cover up the genitalia of the actors? Probably not, but I’m going to talk about that today anyway!
Now that I think about it, you were probably wondering why they put that friggin’ mosaic in there in the first place. I don’t know the answer to that question other than to say that it’s the law of the land. I read once that it goes all the way back to Gen. MacArthur but then I read something else
more recently that had a completely different explanation.
If you watch older videos, say from the 1980s before computers became so prevalent and software so powerful, it looks like someone was inserting a blurry white object over the videotape as he was watching it. His timing and reflexes had to be very good to do this! And he probably had to do it over and over again to get it right.
These days we can do this effect easily enough with computers and only have to do it once but, unfortunately, it’s still a very time-consuming task. In short, it’s drudgery. Like factory work. Tedious and laborious.
From time to time I’ll give you an update on what I’m editing for Osada Steve. For example, we just finished a very nice Rope Tutorial, however, I believe this video is not for sale to the general public. Apparently Steve plans to include this DVD when someone buys a complete set of his authentic, custom-made-for-bondage rope.
What will be available to everyone is this spectacular live show by the renowned Randa Mai. This is really quite a show. I should know. I’ve been looking at it for several days now putting in all that mosaic. In fact, if it weren’t for all the hard work, I’d be enjoying this show a lot.
There are more shows that need editing and I believe a couple of them will be appearing on JapanBondage.tv so if you dig Randa Mai, then you won’t have long to wait to see this very stimulating act.
The model is the beautiful Yui and RM is in top form. Imagine, a pretty young girl brought out on stage, stripped completely naked in front of a throng of lusty onlookers, then trussed up and subjected to the whip and hot candle wax for the pleasure of the audience.
I’m only giving you a snippet of the action here. I’ve been around the scene for a long time now and I’m jaded as hell, but this is a damned good video.
I’m looking forward to editing the remaining vids — just not putting in the mosaic.
